Located on the southern fringe of Kolkata, the Heritage Campus covers almost 20 acres of land. The Heritage Academy is an integral part of The Heritage Group of Institutions. It was established by the Kalyan Bharti Trust in 2007, to broaden the non-AICTE programmes, affiliated under Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal. The Academy set out with a strong vision to contribute to the nation-building process through professional education. With a vigour for unparalleled academic excellence, The Academy has firmly established itself as a knowledge hub where academia and industry come together to nurture bright young minds.

With a humble intake of 120 students in BBA and BCA in 2007, the Academy has grown almost 9 times in student strength, primarily because of gradual increase in intake in BBA and BCA and introduction of industry-oriented courses in the Media Sciences. Currently, the Academy has reached an enrolment figure of 1050 students which is the result of 14 year-long dedication and hard work towards consistent growth. This glorious journey is a result of keen foresight and unwavering support displayed by the dedicated management, committed members of faculty and the earnest academic pursuit by the students.

BBA is a three-year degree program that equips students with essential skills in business, finance, economics, marketing, management, and many more, which are required for any BBA student to succeed in today’s highly competitive global business environment. BCA is also a three-year degree program that familiarizes the students with the Application Software along with the basics of backend operations, keeping in mind the needs and requirements of IT Industries. B.Sc in Media Science and M.Sc in Media Science courses cover such diverse areas as Journalism, Digital Media, Advertising, Digital Marketing, Films, Photography and new age media software. Students pursuing both BBA, BCA and B.Sc in Media Science get the opportunity to pursue higher studies in premier institutes in India and abroad, while students of M.Sc in Media Science are provided with internship for subsequent Placement.

The Academy provides diversified exposure through academic pursuits and direct participation in co-curricular activities, and aims towards holistic development of the students. This is evident from the number of university medals, scholarships, funded post-graduation options and placement opportunities that our students have consistently acquired over the years.
